Title:	Format of Qualifying Round
Detail:	FOR STATE AMATEUR QUALIFYING: Competition will be 18-holes of stroke-play. Allocation of the number of qualifying spots for each district will be pro-rated by the total number of entries and POSTED BEFORE THE QUALIFYING ROUNDS BEGIN. In the event of a tie for the FINAL QUALIFYING SPOTS IN THE STATE AMATEUR FIELD there will be a hole-by-hole play-off immediately upon completion of the QUALIFYING round. FOR THE STATE AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP: Competition will be 72 holes (Four 18-hole rounds)of stroke-play. The field will consist of 180 players. Lowest scorer for 72 holes will be the Champion. In the event of a tie for the championship there will be a hole-by-hole play-off immediately upon completion of the final round. 36 Hole CUT: The 70 low scorers and ties after 36 holes will play the final two rounds. Special Note: In the event that the final 36 holes (Rounds #3 and #4) must be played on one day, the field will be "Cut" to the Low 60 players, plus ties for 60th place.
