WSGA State Amateur Presented by TIZIANI Golf Cars

ALL PLAYER'S entries must reach WSGA office by 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008.    Late, incomplete or phone entries are not acceptable. FAX entries are acceptable ONLY if using a credit card as method of payment. The WSGA Fax Number is (414) 443-0817.

The practice range at OLD HICKORY GOLF CLUB will open at 6:30 A.M. each day of the 2008 WSGA Wisconsin State Amateur Championship and will remain open until 7:00 P.M.

Range balls will be complimentary for ALL ACTIVE CONTESTANTS in the 2008 WSGA Wisconsin State Amateur Championship until the last tee time tees off on ANY day of the championship.

Contestants in the 2008 WSGA Wisconsin State Amateur Championship MUST REGISTER EACH DAY OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP at the WSGA TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION AREA no later than 15 MINUTES prior to their appointed tee time.

Contestants in the 2008 WSGA Wisconsin State Amateur Championship will receive important tournament information, as well as tournament gifts from TaylorMade Golf and/or adidas Golf.

IMPORTANT NOTE:    Contestants in the 2008 WSGA Wisconsin State Amateur Championship Presented by TIZIANI GOLF CAR CORP., who bring their own caddie, MUST register that caddie with the WSGA Tournament Committee EACH DAY OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP AND put down a deposit ($30.00 cash OR credit card OR Drivers License)  for his caddie's caddie bib, which MUST be worn during the players stipulated round(s) during the 2008 WSGA Wisconsin State Amateur Championship Presented by TIZIANI GOLF CAR CORP.

Contestants in the 2008 WSGA Wisconsin State Amateur Championship will tee off of either Hole #1 or Hole #10 for their 1st 18-hole round.

Half of the field will tee off in the morning (A.M.) and half of the field will tee off in the afternoon (P.M.).

TaylorMade Golf MAY have a DEMO / EQUIPMENT TENT on the PRACTICE RANGE for contestants in the 2008 WSGA Wisconsin State Amateur Championship.   Try out TaylorMade's latest equipment on the range at OLD HICKORY GOLF CLUB.

There will be a Cocktail Hour at OLD HICKORY GOLF CLUB for contestants in the 2008 WSGA Wisconsin State Amateur Championship.   Contestants MUST pay for their own beverages.   Complimentary Hors D'ouevres will be served during this Cocktail Hour.

All contestants are invited to attend the Contestants Dinner at OLD HICKORY GOLF CLUB on Monday evening, July 21st, 2008.   There is no cost for this Contestant's Dinner for any contestant in the 2008 WSGA Wisconsin State Amateur Championship.   The cost of the dinner is included in each players entry fee.

IMPORTANT!    Please indicate on the entry & at the Tournament Registration table if you will attend Contestant's Dinner !

Contestants in the 2008 WSGA Wisconsin State Amateur Championship will tee off of either Hole #1 or Hole #10 for their 2nd 18-hole round.

Those contestants that started on Hole #1 for their 1st round will start on Hole #10 for their 2nd round. Those contestants that started on Hole #10 for their 1st round will start on Hole #1 for their 2nd round.

Half of the field will tee off in the morning (A.M.) and half of the field will tee off in the afternoon (P.M.). Those contestants that had a morning Tee-time on Monday would have an afternoon Tee-time on Tuesday. Those contestants that had an afternoon Tee-time on Monday would have an morning Tee-time on Tuesday.

After ALL 180 players have finished their 2nd rounds (36 Holes), the field will be CUT to the LOW 70 players, plus ties for 70th place, for the final two rounds of the Championship.

Special Note:    In case of inclement weather, the 36-Hole CUT could be reduced to the 60 Low scorers, plus ties, IN THE EVENT THAT THE FINAL TWO ROUNDS (36 HOLES - ROUNDS 3 & 4) WOULD NEED TO BE PLAYED ON ONE DAY, THURSDAY, JULY 24, 2008.

Those players that make the 36-Hole CUT will play their 3rd round.   All players will tee off of Hole #1 for the 3rd & 4th rounds of the Championship.

Those players that made the 36-Hole CUT will play their Final round.   All players will tee off of Hole #1.

AN awards ceremony will take place in front of the scoreboard at OLD HICKORY GOLF CLUB immediately following the Final round honoring the Champion & top finishers of the 2008 WSGA State Amateur Championship Presented by TIZIANI GOLF CAR CORPORATION.
