All entries for the 2008 USGA U.S. Amateur Championship MUST be received AT THE OFFICES OF THE USGA by no later than 5:00 P.M. EASTERN TIME (4:00 P.M. CENTRAL TIME) on Wednesday, JULY 2, 2008.  

Players wishing to enter the 2008 USGA U.S. Amateur Championship may do so by clicking on the section of this website entitled "Related Websites" and then clicking on "U.S. Amateur Championship Entry Blank."    Once there a player can either download a paper entry blank (which MUST be mailed to the USGA offices) OR may enter on-line using a major credit card as the form of payment.

Thu, Jul 31, 2008 6:15 AM Practice Range Opens

The practice range at WATERTOWN COUNTRY CLUB will be open at 6:15 A.M.

Complimentary range balls will be available for ALL contestants in the 2008 USGA U.S. AMATEUR QUALIFYING prior to their rounds.

Thu, Jul 31, 2008 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM 1st Round Tee-times

Contestants in the 2008 USGA U.S. Amateur Qualifying at WATERTOWN COUNTRY CLUB in Watertown, WI will play their 1st 18-Hole qualifying round.  

Thu, Jul 31, 2008 11:30 AM - 3:00 PM Lunch for Contestants

Lunch will be made available for contestants in the 2008 USGA U.S. AMATEUR QUALIFYING at WATERTOWN COUNTRY CLUB. Contestants will have at least 1/2 hour to 45 minutes between their two 18-hole qualifying rounds for lunch.

Contestants MUST pay for their own lunches.

Thu, Jul 31, 2008 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM 2nd Round Tee-times

Contestants in the 2008 USGA U.S. Amateur Qualifying at WATERTOWN COUNTRY CLUB in Watertown, WI will play their 2nd 18-Hole qualifying round.   

Thu, Jul 31, 2008 7:30 PM - 8:00 PM Playoff for Qualifying Spot(s)

After ALL competitors have played 36 holes, a playoff will take place, if necessary, to determine the final available qualifying spot(s) and/or Alternates for this qualifying district.

The playoff will begin at a hole to be determined by the Tournament Committee and posted prior to the competition.
