A WSGA member club may designate a 3-man team for the SAM RUSKIN CUP team competition. Unless the WSGA is notified prior to the start of the championship, the team will be comprised of the three lowest Handicap Index members unless the WSGA is notified prior to the start of the tournament.
The 3-man team with the lowest aggregate gross score over the two rounds of the Championship will be declared winners in the team competition and their names will be inscribed on the SAM RUSKIN trophy.
Team members must be affiliated with the WSGA member club they represent, which is interpreted to mean - a team member MUST be eligible to participate in the member club or member golf course's Championship events.
Ties for the Team Championship will result in duplicate awards being presented to the members of those teams who tie for the Team Championship. |
