Competition will be 36 holes (Two 18-hole rounds) of stroke-play. The contestant with the lowest gross score for 36 holes will be the State Senior Amateur Champion. In the event of a tie for the championship, a hole-by-hole play-off will be held immediately upon completion of the final round. All other ties will be decided by a scorecard play-off method.
There will also be low gross and low net winners in the following three (3) age groups:
(Senior): (55-62), (Super-Seniors): (63-69), and (Legends): (70 & Older).
The date of the most current WSGA/USGA Handicap Index to be used for the tournament will be established by the Tournament Committee. All participants will receive Handicap Index adjustment in accordance with the USGA Slope Strokes - Received method for the course played. |
