The crown jewel of the Wisconsin State Golf Association is coming to Kenosha, as the 111th Wisconsin State Amateur Championship will be held at The Club at Strawberry Creek. The annual championship features 180 of the state’s top amateur golfers.
The qualifier tournament is two rounds played at Oconomowoc GC. It is the qualifier for The 2012 USGA U.S. Amateur Championship which will be held August 13-19, 2012 at Cherry Hills CC in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado.
Entries are open to all amateur male golfers who attained age 55 by July 30th, 2012 AND are affiliated with a 2012 WSGA member club.
Yet another great event hosted by a top tier golf course. This will be one of the final remaining chances for players to qualify for the Mid-Amateur Championship. The best talent in the state will be on display for a high level of competitive play.
The WSGA Pater-Filius Championship, is Wisconsin’s annual father-son championship that was first held in 1911. The 101st edition is scheduled for August 14 at the Golf Courses of Lawsonia in Green Lake. Gross, net and open competitions are held.

36-hole stroke play event held at The Legend at Bristlecone- host of the 2010 Wisconsin State Open.
Players who qualify will advance to the USGA Senior Amateur at Mountain Ridge Country Club, West Caldwell, New Jersey, September 29 - October 4, 2012.
Competition will be 36 holes of stroke-play (Two 18-Hole rounds). The contestant with the lowest gross score for 36 holes will be the Director’s Cup (Mid-Amateur) Champion.
The 2012 Net Partners Tournament No. 7 is held at the Brighton Dale Links (Blue Spruce). The TOP FIVE (5) TEAMS, plus ties for 5th place, from each of the ten (10) 2012 WSGA Net Partners Tournaments will qualify for the 2012 WSGA Net Championship.
The Wisconsin 2-Man Championship, is a 54-hole competition hosted this year at beautiful Maple Bluff Country Club. The Championship features 3 different formats, including Best Ball in Round 1, Alternate Shot in Round 2, and Scramble in Round 3.
Low Gross and Net Stableford awards presented in both Senior and Super Senior divisions. Created out of the site of an old quarry, the dramatic Wild Rock GC hosts this years WSGA Sr. Tour Championship.
The 2012 WSGA State League Championship is being held at beautiful North Shore County Club in Mequon. The competition will be 18 holes of team net best-ball using the lowest two net scores of the four-person team.
